There's
more to marketing credit cards than interest rates, fees and rewards.
Though less important than such features, the look of the card's
face and what it represents also play a role. It was especially
important for the brand representation of Lycos. From art direction,
reproducing logo standards, laying out the graphics around the
mandatory Visa or MasterCard logos, to fitting everything into
a 2-inch by 3.25-inch space, the process of creating a corporate
image on a miniature billboard had its challenges.
